Having had my first hours steering last night I understood why I had not been feeling well yesterday before departure.

Having had his intense struggle and fight against the wind last night I understood why my sailing professor Alexandre had not been feeling well yesterday before departure.

But it got worse and Alexandre became really demotivated fighting against the wind and not sailing straight forward and loosing time.

He was demotivated and stressed and nervous and wanted to resist and enter the port of Joao Pessoa, call the owner to reschedule the delivery and take the bus to go back home.

Not with AlexK, I had the spirit now, I had the energy now and I had the motivation now. I wanted to fight the wind and the waves, my hunger and my tiredness.

I had to motivate Alexandre, again and again and we continued another day and another night and arrived in Recife late in the afternoon. We agreed to refill the tank, refill our stomach and refill our energy and stay the night and have a good rest.
