Looked dead, didn’t I? Well, I wasn’t, but it wasn’t for lack of trying I can tell you that. Actually, Bill’s last bullet put me in a coma, a coma I was to lie in for four years.

When I woke up, I went on what the movie advertisements referred to as a roaring rampage of revenge. I roared and I rampaged and I got bloody satisfaction. I’ve killed a hell of a lot of people to get to this point.

But I have only one more. The last one, the one I’m driving to right now. The only one left. And when I arrive at my destination, …

I am gonna kill Bill.

Shortly after being drafted into the Army in 1960, David Carradine married Donna Lee Becht. The marriage dissolved in 1968.

In 1969, Carradine met actress Barbara Hershey. The pair lived together until 1975.

The couple’s relationship fell apart in 1974 when Carradine began an affair with Season Hubley. They were engaged for a time, but they never married.

In 1977, Carradine married his second wife Linda. The marriage ended in divorce, as did the two that followed.

He was married to Gail Jensen from 1986 to 1997. She died in April 2010, at the age of 60, of an alcohol-related illness.

He was married to Marina Anderson from 1998 to 2001. By this time, Carradine had proclaimed himself to be a serial monogamist.

On December 26, 2004, Carradine married Annie Bierman.

In one of his final interviews, Carradine stated that at 71, he was still in excellent shape, attributing it to a good diet and having a youthful circle of friends.

Everybody that I know is at least 10 or 20 years younger than I am. My wife Annie is 24 years younger than I am.

My daughter asks why I don’t hang with women my age and I say, ‘Most of the women my age are a lot older than me!

On June 3, 2009, at the age of 72, David was found dead in his room at the Swissôtel, Bangkok, Thailand.

He was found naked, hanging by a rope in the room’s closet, causing speculation that his death was suicide.

Two autopsies were conducted, and both concluded that the death was not suicide. The cause of death became accepted as accidental autoerotic asphyxiation.

Immediately following his death, two of Carradine’s former wives stated publicly that his sexual interests included the practice of self-bondage.

There was a dark side to David, there was a very intense side to David. People around him know that. It was the continuation of abhorrent and deviant sexual behavior which was potentially deadly.
