Rally for Rivers / Rally für Flüsse / Rally para Rios / Rally para los Ríos

Our rivers are dying. We can no longer turn a blind eye as we stand on the threshold of the gravest crisis of our times.

Water scarcity affects every continent and around 2.8 billion people around the World at least one month out of every year.

More than 1.2 billion people lack access to clean drinking water.

Rally For Rivers is a campaign launched by Isha Foundation in 2017 to save the dying rivers of the India. Rally for Rivers campaign was launched to create Awareness on protecting rivers.

Maintaining a substantial number of trees for at least one kilometre width along the riversides has vast environmental, social and economic benefits for nation and Society.

Tree roots make the soil porous so that it can absorb rain and hold water when rain falls. This water in the soil is then released into the river gradually throughout the year.
