We have entered the information age. The industrial age has come to an end. In the information age, life, jobs, money, and success are much more about who you know, rather than what you know.

In the information age, a single instant can change the World, while the World stands by, unable to react to that instant.

In the industrial age you were told to study hard, find a safe and secure job and save money. Your pension and your social security will protect you in retirement.

In the information age you continue to study hard, but you will become financially literate. You create assets on your own because your pension and social security will not support you when you retire.

Your income should increase as you age. Blue chip stocks and mutual funds will not protect you if there is a stock market crash. So, you better watch your investment but seek competent advisors.
