You’re the Voice / Du bist die Stimme / Você é a Voz / Tu eres la Voz

Speak up, talk about climate change every day, with your friends, family, colleagues, people on the bus. We are at risk of losing momentum around climate change just as governments and big business are beginning to listen and take action.

Vote for it in every way you can. Turn up at the voting booth, and make the right choice to combat climate change – national elections are the obvious one, but council elections, mayoral elections, or even electing the chair of your class could have a significant impact on the environment.

With the right leaders at every level, organisations will increasingly make the right choices for the environment. Now is the time to keep the conversation going as this is a problem that will not just ‘go away’.

You also vote every day with what you buy – switch out that beef burger for veggies, change your electricity plan to be 100% renewable, take a reusable cup, drink oat milk, take the train, not the plane. A million small actions can send one big message.

Speak up, Show up, Act up on climate change. Raise your coice. You are the voice.

We have the chance to turn the pages over –
We can write what we want to write –
We gotta make ends meet, before we get much older –

We’re all someone’s daughter –
We’re all someone’s son –
How long can we look at each other –
Down the barrel of a gun? –

You’re the voice, try and understand it
Make a noise and make it clear
Oh-wo-wo-wo, oh-wo-wo-wo
We’re not gonna sit in silence
We’re not gonna live with fear
Oh-wo-wo-wo, oh-wo-wo-wo

This time, we know we all can stand together
With the power to be powerful
Believing we can make it better

We’re all someone’s daughter
We’re all someone’s son
How long can we look at each other
Down the barrel of a gun?

You’re the voice, try and understand it
Make a noise and make it clear
Oh-wo-wo-wo, oh-wo-wo-wo
We’re not gonna sit in silence
We’re not gonna live with fear
Oh-wo-wo-wo, oh-wo-wo-wo

We’re all someone’s daughter
We’re all someone’s son
How long can we look at each other
Down the barrel of a gun?

You’re the voice, try and understand it
Make a noise and make it clear
Oh-wo-wo-wo, oh-wo-wo-wo
We’re not gonna sit in silence
We’re not gonna live with fear
